“Whether you’re in your 60s, 70s, or simply thinking ahead, this podcast is for anyone exploring what work can look like later in life.” It could look like: staying in your current role, phased in/semi retirement, un-retiring and returning to work or pivoting to explore new ventures. You are not alone, many people are choosing to do so for different reasons.
My experience as an older worker in keeping a work chapter motivated me to dig deeper into this trend. It was the inspiration to create 60 and More Crowd Podcast. Let's open the conversation, collaborate and learn from each other. The modern workplace is changing and evolving. You can't navigate the new space with an old map.
According to the World Economic Forum, the share of people 65 and older in the job marketplace is estimated to rise sharply in the next five years; older workers are crucial to a thriving economy. In Canada where I live, a recent survey noted: 66% of people plan to work past the age of 65 in some capacity.
We will walk-through the changing nature of work, the innovative policies and programs shaping this space, and the gaps that still exist in workplace environments.
These are short on the go episodes. less than 10 minutes.
I invite you to join me and listen, wherever you get your Podcast.
