When Sam reached out, he wasn’t in crisis - but he was stuck.

Dad of three. Senior figure in sports betting. Diabetic. Stressed. Struggling to sleep.

And - in his words - “I saw the picture on the company website and thought, I cannot believe the size of me”

He’d spent years bouncing between all-or-nothing fitness kicks, using food and alcohol to cope with stress, and pretending everything was fine as long as the weight didn’t get too high.

Until it did. And he was ready to do something about it - properly.

In this episode, we discuss how Sam dropped 4 stone, got his health under control, and built a life that doesn’t rely on guilt, restriction, or “starting again on Monday.”

We cover:

  • Why all-or-nothing thinking always leads to nothing
  • The link between stress, wine, and poor decisions
  • How to stay consistent without chasing perfection
  • Why identity, habits and addressing the root causes - not more information - drives lasting change
  • The power of being directionally correct in real life

This one’s funny, sharp, and brutally honest.
