Where are you performing instead of living? Where are you shrinking to keep the peace? Where are you drained from trying to control perceptions? So many women are spiritually and emotionally dehydrated because they’re constantly trying to earn worthiness through doing what’s “right.” We convince ourselves we’ll feel better when we finally do everything perfectly. We say yes when we mean no. We apologize for our tone. We shrink to avoid being misunderstood. We clean up messes we didn’t even make. All in the name of being seen as "good."
