Episode 380
Taking you back to 4/19/2016 - Featuring one of the best competition cooks in the last 10 years or so, Fred Robles from Rio Valley Meats. Not only has Fred been a prolific competition BBQ cook, he has also started a big Texas based competition sanctioning body (The CBA) that has seen great success over the past handful of years…so much so…he is seen as a true option to the more well known sanctioning bodies like ICBA or KCBS.
If you aren’t familiar with Fred, this is a great introduction to him and what his background is and how he eventually got into the BBQ competition circuit. Well worth the listen…Fred is a great guy and I know you will enjoy this one coming up on Friday.
Ready to make a “BEST OF” show all your own?? Email Jon Solberg and let him know what you would like to hear on a future episode! As always, thank you for listening!
