Welcome back to Open Conversation with Malik. I took a short break for the holidays but I am back with Episode 5: I Can Bring Home the Bacon Feat. Kimberly Yates.
Packed inside this episode listeners will get to hear Kim’s journey from growing up in Elizabethtown, KY, playing basketball for the Lady Panthers (Elizabethtown High School), attending and graduating from Western Kentucky University, becoming a teacher, to becoming an entrepreneur.
Kim is the current owner of “Sky’s The Limit”, Elizabethtown Swim & Fitness, and has ties with other local businesses with the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Area. Kim details how she got into teaching, liked it but knew her passion was somewhere else so took a leap of faith and got into real estate. Kim also talks about seeing how a trampoline park could benefit the community, how her and her family came up with the name “Sky’s The Limit”, to also acquiring Elizabethtown Swim & Fitness.
