There's a new take on the Universal Studios classic The Wolf Man (1941) coming out for Halloween 2024. With that in mind, we take a look at the previous remake of this horror classic from nearly 15 years ago, The Wolfman (2010) starring Benicio Del Toro in one of his most forgettable performances alongside Anthony Hopkins. And we see how it stacks up against an unofficial Wolf Man remake from the 1990s, Wolf (1994), starring Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer. We also get into what we dig about werewolf movies in general and what we'd like to see from the new Wolf Man directed by Leigh Whannell and slotted for a January 2025 release.
