Then I visit with Avery Wickham, Naturalist Intern at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center. We talk about the population of Chimney Swifts in the area and what is being done to preserve and enhance their habitat.

And I talk with Steve Barrett at the Austin Area Foundation. This week Steve introduces us to Fred Bogott, the chair of the Austin Area Foundation’s Distribution Committee. We’ll discover what it is about the Foundation that attracted Fred and made him decide to become an active member of the Board.
