In this episode I’ll be visiting with Lisa Deyo at Sweet Reads Bookstore. With June just around the corner Sweet Reads is stocked up with cards and gifts perfect for Father’s Day, Graduations, Weddings, and any other gift giving situation that might come your way. And we talk a bit about a writing project that you can get involved in leading up to the ArtWorks Festival.

Then I visit the Austin Public Library to talk about the wonderful programming coming up for you and your family this summer at the library, including the kick-off of the summer reading program next week and Fourth Avenue Fest.

And then I get to sit down with Hormel Institute Professor Sergio Gradilone, PHD to talk about his most recent publication concerning a breakthrough in the understanding of how cells communicate and how this could lead to better treatments for cancer.

Also, I would like to hear from you! Feel free to email your thoughts, suggestions, and comments to [email protected].

You can always text your comments and thoughts at 507-222-9595.

Or if you prefer you can call and leave a message at the Discover Austin office at 507.437.4563.
