This week, we mix it up a bit and Helen interviews Janet!
Janet has a health background and now works mostly in organizational development and monitoring and evaluation. She started working in international development in 1995 and her experience is based in the NGO and consulting space.
In this conversation, Helen gets in under some of Janet's experience and delves deeper into her consulting journey.
We talk about curiosity and using an iterative approach with clients; how asking questions helps to make the deliverables useful to clients and the important skill of empathy. We reflect on preparing well and the attention we need to pay to details and language. And how it's vital to surround yourself with a supportive network.
