There are only a handful of constants throughout history that affect all people. The greatest of these is persecution. This is especially true, and most intense for those who are of God's chosen, whether Jew or Christian. This being the case, it is no wonder that the Scriptures have much to say about persecution, exhaustively detailing what it is, how it works and how it is dealt with by God and all those of God.

Join the class as we continue in the book of Daniel and other places in the Bible to examine the why and how of persecution, its intended results and, most importantly, how God uses it to accomplish good in and for those affected by it.

It is important that you and I learn about the 'how's' and 'why's' of persecution because, if you are of God's people especially, you will experience it - sometimes extremely severely - in this life.:

2Ti 3:12~13 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 2Ti 3:11...But out of them all the Lord delivered me. 2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
