[Ep. 41] Finding career fulfillment in your 30s/40s in tech w/ Cristina Forsstrom
Manage episode 414806107 series 1525717
Cristina packed her bags and moved to San Francisco without a job lined up. She wanted to prove herself, and one day work at a company whose name was instantly recognizable.
She made bets on herself and it paid off big time - Cristina became the 30th employee at Spotify in the US. She rode the startup rollercoaster alongside the company, embracing Spotify's innovative "tours of duty" career culture, which allowed her to explore diverse internal roles and propel her career forward.
We also chatted about the quest and agony for finding career fulfillment among women in their 30s and 40s - a topic on top of my mind these days.
Come hear Cristina's career and money journey!
