- Named after a mining town in colorado and for the tin cups that people drank from
- Partners with stranahan Distillery
- Is fully marketed as an outdoor brand, to the point where their website is more a gear site than a whiskey site in a lot of ways
- Jess Graber first was a co-founder to stranahans, and branched out ot tincup to go a more bourbon direction
- Was a volunteer firefighter and responded to a barn fire at George Stranahans place.

- Mashbill is high rye, made with corn, rye, and malted barley
- Blend of bourbon (64% Corn, 32% Rye, 4% Malted Barley) and single malt whiskey (100% Malted Barley)
