Knott's Mural: The Timeline Under the Overpass

In this episode of the Where In The Park Podcast, we’re taking a little detour outside the gates of Knott’s Berry Farm to explore the mural that brightens the Beach Boulevard tunnel. This massive artwork pays tribute to Knott’s past and present, with nods to beloved attractions like Kingdom of the Dinosaurs, Calico Mine Ride, Timber Mountain Log Ride, and GhostRider, as well as iconic characters including Sad-Eye Joe, Handsome Brady and Whiskey Bill, Whittles, the Catawampus, and even the Calico Belles.
The mural also honors the people who bring the park to life, with employees from each land represented, including a touching tribute to a fan-favorite performer who passed away in 2024.
From boysenberry bushes and Independence Hall to Montezooma’s Revenge and HangTime, this mural is a true celebration of 100 years of Knott’s Berry Farm history. We’ll walk through the mural scene by scene, uncovering the stories behind every detail.
