The Middle East is burning – politically, socially, humanly.
But these wars do not arise out of nowhere.
Behind every act of violence there is a story – and a feeling of deprivation.
“Something has been taken from us.”
“We are entitled to something.”
“The others are to blame.”
As long as peoples or groups believe they are being short-changed, mistrust arises. And where mistrust grows, conflict sooner or later follows.
