As we wrap up our time producing episodes with those in and close to the Robertson family, I wanted to share what has been on my heart since Phil Robertson went home to be with the Lord.

Phil made sure to tell everyone he came in contact with about Jesus and their need to have a relationship with Him. Guys like Phil and myself have the evidence of a changed life so we know full well what happens when we say goodbye to our old lives and walk with the Lord.

Redemption is what we call being bought with price and being made whole...better than we can ever achieve on our own. Only Jesus makes that makes offer to all of us and can come through with it.

So in this episode I wanted to share what Phil Robertson has meant to me in ways of encouragement and wisdom but also focus on the offer for Jesus to redeem anyone who wants it.

Towards the end of Phil's life he was very vocal about how the resurrection was "looming large" as he saw the decline of his physical body and our society. But early on, his message was that of a changed life brought about by redeemed by Jesus.

You can see Phil's story come to life and watch how it all unfolded as it was recreated in the movie "The Blind."

A couple years ago I preached a message on what being redeemed looks like. I always like to show people and give examples of what it looks like when put the principles that are in the Bible, into practice in our own lives.

So I got multiple examples of people being completely changed...redeemed:

-Alcoholics

-Drug dealers

-Heathens

-People with same sex attraction

-People confused about their gender

Everyone of them is represented in the message because they were one way...then after a real encounter with Jesus...they were changed...REDEEMED!

Enjoy the message!

(even if the audio/video quality is less than perfect)
