Do you happen to be a fellow Urchin and Vinyl fanatic? I had a feeling, and know you are not alone! Possibly the best news of the year is here; the second full length Sound of Urchin album is being pressed on vinyl for the first time ever!! All of the original 11 Diamond tracks have been freshly remastered along with an uncovered song recorded at the same time for the new vinyl. The pressing is 180 Gram "Diamond Clear" vinyl for a seriously beautiful shine.

Also included is a digital download card for the remasted record, but also 10 "Unearthed Gems" featuring demos and original 4 track recordings of Diamond songs.

There will a limited edition run of 100 copies that will include a CD of the only time the band played the album in its entirety; Omaha Nebraska 2005. The CD jacket will include original hand drawn artwork by Tomato so each one will be completely unique!

Go to Sound of Urchin.com to pre-order your copy now, and save $10 before October 21st.

In this brand new interview Chris takes us back to the time that this album was recorded and the crazy situation revolving around RCA and the music business in the early 2000's all the way through to how this new pressing came about currently.

The band teamed up with the late hit-maker Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne to put his spin on these jams to get them into that radio friendly feel, without losing the groups edge and force.

Tomato explains that as fans we were actually very lucky that these songs made it to our ears in the form of the Diamond as it was not easy to get this record out.

These are the stories direct from the source, and for even more of our Tomato interview please go to Patreon for the full interview including a few more stories NOT found in this podcast!

We can't thank Chris enough for joining us again for another fascinating conversation! Urchin Forever!
