In this episode of Way Out of History, I share something deeply personal—my testimony of how Jesus saved me from a life of anger, pride, and destruction. It’s a story of grace and transformation, and it connects in a surprising way to one of the most unbelievable events of World War II: the Battle of Castle Itter.
French prisoners, American GIs, and German soldiers—former enemies—fought together to defend a castle from the SS. It’s a real moment in history where hatred gave way to unity, and death was met with deliverance.
Just like in my own life, this battle shows that even in the darkest moments, redemption is possible.
