In this episode Josh Cutler joins us at the table to continue a conversation we started months ago. Back in episode 67 Josh shares in great detail about his health journey and battle with Lyme disease. Today we pick right back up to discuss what God has been teaching him in this season. His journey hasn’t been easy, and he faces daily choices about where to focus his attention—on Jesus or on his circumstances. His words of encouragement remind us that small steps of obedience and consistency lead to great strides of Freedom and Healing in Christ.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Our paths are very different, but we often battle with the same things: fear and all the what ifs. We are reminded again this week that we can’t be anxious and Grateful at the same time -- so when those fears or what if situations begin in our mind, we can choose to be grateful for the blessings in our life, and it will change our perspective.

We know that gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we’ve been given — His presence, His promises, and His peace. Keeping a positive perspective begins with trusting that God is still working, even in the unseen, and believing that He is using every moment, even the hard ones, to draw us closer and shape us more like Christ.

Keep Walking Friends!
