Mount Allison University astronomer sounds the alarm on the dangers of satellite proliferation. And she’s not alone. Dr. Catherine Lovekin says Starlink has put some 7,000 satellites into orbit, and it wants 40,000 more in its constellation. B.C.’s Camryn Rogers did the same in the women’s competition. And CCTV cameras have made their way in downtown Peterborough and in many other Ontario towns and cities. Across the country as well. Peterborough’s Chief of Police says cameras have been a “success”.
