This week on Unpacking Sunday, Luke and Mike get real about the early church believers and what life looked like as they adapted to the brand-new reality of holding the Holy Spirit. Acts 2 might almost read like the perfect ending—“and they lived happily ever after”—but really, it marks a whole new beginning.

They unpack how the early church learned to live out radical generosity, selling their belongings and property to meet the needs of others, and contrast that with how the modern church—especially in the West—has often drifted toward comfort and convenience. Together they ask: What would it look like if we saw our eternal family with fresh eyes?

Of course, it wouldn’t be Unpacking Sunday without some laughter along the way, as Luke and Mike share their most and least favorite Christmas songs and offer a few holiday listening recommendations!
