On this episode of UNGENTRIFIED, I am joined by Walt Brown (@waltbrowntellem), author, creator, and supporter of all things black to chat about the importance of Juneteenth and why we need to stop inviting everybody to the "cookout."

We discuss the history of Juneteenth, why it's important that we as a community recognize the holiday, why the black community is hesitant to turn Juneteenth into the turnup it should be, black people wanting to invite every ally to the proverbial "cookout" and who in the black community needs their BBQ invitation cancelled. Listen and give us your opinion!
