The Hurricanes are 1-0 and the celebrations are in full swing after a thrilling 27-24 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. But even after a win, Canes fans can’t help but find something to complain about. We're digging into the biggest gripe of the week: Were the Canes too conservative in the second half?

Join us as we break down the good, the bad, and the slightly frustrating from the season opener. We're giving major props to the game's undeniable stars, including the dominant defensive duo of Rueben Bain Jr. and true freshman Malachi Toney. Bain was a terror for the Irish offensive line, and Toney led all Canes receivers with 6 catches for 82 yards and a touchdown in his collegiate debut.

And of course, we’re recapping the highly anticipated Canes debut of quarterback Carson Beck. The Georgia transfer went 20-for-31 for 205 yards and two touchdowns, showing flashes of brilliance and giving us a glimpse into the future of this offense. We'll also discuss the clutch 47-yard game-winning field goal from kicker Carter Davis.

Tune in to hear our take on what this win means for the rest of the season and if the conservative play-calling is a cause for concern or just a case of growing pains.
