Turning Tides: Singapore's Early Settlements will discuss seven hundred years of Singapore's history. The second and final episode, The Fall of Babel, will cover the period from 1919 to 1948, in which Singapore saw rapid change and industrialization with the growth of their rubber and tin industries, while also facing the inevitable harrowing consequences of being a strategically positioned port city with raw resources.
