Rather than using the word “protection” in a defensive sense, I prefers the idea of “looking after” one’s own energy to prevent negative external energies from affecting you. The key points highlight that you don’t need to fear others’ energy, the best protection comes from staying grounded in your own energy, and it’s about cultivating a steady and compassionate relationship with your energy rather than fighting it off. Practical advice includes tuning into your own energy, disconnecting from others’ energy through visualization techniques, and using simple breathing exercises to regain calm. Boundaries are essential but should be kind and clear, with the understanding that “no” is a complete answer. Ultimately, surrounding yourself with love transforms negative energy and strengthens your energetic resilience. Highlights Energy protection means caring for your own energy, not fearing external influences. Feeling overwhelmed often stems from your system processing more than usual, not bad energy. The best protection is staying present and grounded in your own energy. Disconnect from others’ energy using visualization (e.g., imagine cutting cords with a sword). Seal your energy boundaries with love to prevent unwanted energy drain. Practice mindful breathing, such as box breathing, to restore calm. Saying “no” is a powerful and kind boundary; it requires no justification. Key Insights Energy management is about support, not defense: Viewing energy protection as support helps reduce fear and drama, making it a more positive and manageable practice. Overwhelm doesn’t always mean negative energy: Often, feeling drained means your body is processing more stimuli than usual, especially in emotionally intense settings. This normalizes the experience and removes unnecessary fear. Disconnection techniques are crucial for energy clarity: Visualization practices like “cutting cords” help clear residual energy without conflict, allowing you to maintain energetic boundaries gracefully. Love acts as an energetic shield and healer: Sealing off energy with love not only blocks harmful energy but transforms and neutralizes it, reinforcing emotional resilience. Mindful breathing reconnects you to your own energy: Techniques such as box breathing help calm the nervous system and increase energy awareness, combating overwhelm. Setting clear boundaries is self-care, not rejection: Saying no firmly and kindly protects your energy without guilt or drama, fostering healthier relationships with others and yourself. Energetic self-awareness is a continuous practice: Regularly tuning into and caring for your energy enables you to prevent unconscious energy absorption and enhances overall wellbeing.
