Transported was conceived as an alternative look at travel and its place in modern life, and some of the more interesting things under the surface that I learned from the places I visited. As I spend a great deal of time in Israel, the last 18 months have led to a heavy focus on Middle Eastern affairs, hopefully also with a contrarian bent, which I apply to UK and US politics and other subjects too. In other words it's really a self-indulgent diary of my thoughts, which I hope will be thought-provoking. I am always happy to debate listeners on any issue raised.
