Welcome to the Today is the Day Changemakers podcast.
In this episode, I sit down with Amanda Ready, a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Ready to Empower a nonprofit organization. Also joining us is Jasmeet Singh, a dedicated board member of Ready to Empower, and Director of Strategy and Operations for Johnson and Johnson.
Amanda has spent over a decade creating space for women around the world to heal emotionally, mentally, and financially by building access to mental health support, education, and job training. Jasmeet brings her leadership and insight to the mission in a way that is both grounding and inspiring.
We talk honestly about what it means to give yourself grace on the days when you’re not okay, the kind of connection that helps you keep going, and why mental health conversations can’t be optional anymore—they have to be part of how we lead, support, and live.
I teared up during this one—because when someone is truly aligned with their purpose, you feel it. Amanda’s work doesn’t just empower women—it reminds all of us that real change starts with compassion, courage, and consistency.
