In Lexington Township on January 24, 2021, Hardy Robert Wills-Traxler confessed to killing his father, Bruce Traxler, and burning the shed where his body was found. Hardy, who struggled with mental illness, believed his father was a threat, though no evidence supported this. During questioning, his confused answers showed how much his condition affected him.
