With the holidays approaching, many of us will have family and friends coming to stay with us. How can we prepare for them to have a wonderful, memorable experience? A comfortable guest room is a great way to say ”Welcome!”
In order to prepare a guest room, there are many things which are common sense, so much so that we don't focus on them. A thorough cleaning and careful curating of personal collections are a great start. Of course, clean fresh bedding is a must, as well as storage for clothing and luggage.
Various kinds of lighting will offer safety and comfortable reading, while simple window treatments can provide light control and privacy.
A TV and connection to wi-fi are very important in our digital world. Other helpful items to have on hand include toiletries, chargers for electronic devices and a hair dryer.
