With their second album Bless You and Be Well due for release tomorrow, I’m delighted to share that for episode 36 of the podcast, I’m joined by Mike Wagstaff from Chartreuse!

Bless You and Be Well is a stunner of an album that was recorded in an incredibly remote part of Iceland by Sam Petts-Davis (best known for his work with The Smile) It see’s the band turn grief and trauma into a beautiful body of work.

Mike was kind enough to invite me into his home to discuss the upcoming Chartreuse album and share his love of Modest Mouse and their breakthrough record - The Lonesome Crowded West.

We also discuss The OC, underage drinking at Vagabonds, whammy bar techniques and paying Limmy to promote your band on twitch.
