I DISAGREE WITH DAVE!

Thinking Out Loud is a place to digest audibly the things we tend to think through silently. We'll look at a variety of complex issues from a variety of points of view, not necessarily to get to "right answers" but to build empathy and perspective.

On this week's episode, Rob Cook and I are joined by Alex DeMarco. Alex is a project editor for Baker Academic and Brazos Press, my college buddy, and author of this article: Sacrificing LGBTQ+ Well-Being and More on the Altar of an Inerrant Bible. This was published after Cairn University made the decision to disband their entire Graduate and Undergraduate Social Work programs. Rob, Alex, and I discuss the article, Cairn's decision, and the inerrancy of the Bible.

For Alex's previous appearance on TOL go here: 021 Is 'Right or Wrong' the Right Question?

For further TOL discussions on how to read/view the Bible check out these:
04 Falling In and Out of Love with the Bible (w/ Rich Dugan)
05 Do Christains Put too much Emphasis on the Bible? w/ John Chaffee
027 Jonah - Fact of Fiction
