James Jung, a former Army combat veteran who, after serving in combat environments, started on his own path to understanding and treating trauma. He is now a psychiatrist specializing in PTSD and currently serves as the Director of Behavioral Health for ZEAM Health & Wellness (www.Zeamhealth.com), where he leads a mental health team providing comprehensive whole-person mental health care, including neurofeedback. In addition to his clinical work, he co-founded the nonprofit Inner Depths Freediving (https://www.innerdepthsfreediving.org/team), where he serves as the Mental Health Program Director. At Inner Depths, he and the rest of the Inner Depths team help trauma survivors reconnect with their bodies and regulate their nervous systems through the power of the water, nature, and breathing regulation by teaching participants freediving skills integrated with mental health support, including neurofeedback.
