Another otherworldly interruption leads us to the nearly empty church of Reverend Josiah Washburn, Sunday morning with only Thyme, Gabe and Mama in attendance. (No parishioners) So, a wedding is held where Minister Josiah marries a surprising couple.

Is Gabe really an angel? You bet! And he’s got the skills ta’ prove it. Josiah is most impressed. This episode being full of surprises, three of which involve Mama, Ms Maybelle Quinn. As it turns out, Mama has a lot more goin’ for her that expected by all. You might even go so far to say that Mama has a whole passel of surprises in store for all of us — including her own daughter.
