At today’s Thanksgiving & Testimony Service, Pastor Femi Paul shared a timely and powerful exhortation titled: "You're Waiting to Be Discovered, But You're About to Be Found!" He opened with Psalm 89:20, reminding us: 📖 “I discovered My servant David. I anointed him with My holy oil!” — Psalm 89:20 (CEB) 📖 “I have found My servant David; with My holy oil I have anointed him!” — Psalm 89:20 (NKJV) To be discovered is to be singled out, sorted from the crowd based on distinguishing qualities. It’s not just about visibility; it’s about worthiness. Pastor Femi stressed that "Only servants are found, because they consistently carry out the will of God. He highlighted the story of David: 📖 “And when He had removed Saul, God raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’” — Acts 13:22 (NKJV) David was not just chosen because of appearance or skill. He was found because of a servant heart, obedient across all seasons. In contrast, Pastor Femi reminded us of Saul: 📖 “The Lord has ripped the kingdom of Israel from you today. He will give it to a friend of yours, someone who is more worthy than you.” — 1 Samuel 15:28 (CEB)This is your season of being found, not just seen. May the Lord discover in you a faithful, servant heart - one He can elevate, anoint, and establish!
