Does God need powerful people to accomplish great things? Judges 7 shows that He often removes human strength so faith can grow. Gideon started with 32,000 soldiers, but God reduced his army to just 300. Against 135,000 Midianites, this was an impossible battle—until God stepped in.

This episode explores why God makes His people weak before granting victory. When pride takes over, people take credit for what only God can do. That’s exactly what happened after Gideon’s victory. The powerful tribe of Ephraim, angry at being left out, caused division instead of celebrating God’s deliverance. Pride and ego still threaten God’s people today. How do you respond when someone else gets recognition? Do you insist on being seen, or do you quietly serve?

Disunity weakens the church, just as it did Israel. Gideon’s story challenges you to check your own heart. Are you trusting God, or are you relying on yourself? Are you building unity, or are you creating division? Learn how to recognize these dangers and respond with humility. God doesn’t need heroes—He needs servants who trust Him.
