Helping someone choose an electric bike that has not ridden one before is no easy task. On the political front, a new bill introduced to Congress would encourage domestic assembly of bicycles and e-bikes by eliminating tariffs on their components.

On the business front, GoCycle has been purchased by the owner of a prominent e-bike manufacturer. Additionally, the Spanish motor producer MAHLE has entered the eMTB market with a heavy-hitting mid-drive.
