Philippians 2:1-4

Paul continues his exhortation to live a godly life in Christ Jesus and then to live in true biblical unity. The first part of this exhortation dealt with the external attacks that would take place. Now he switches gears and focuses on the internal attacks that pose a far great danger to the church.
Paul begins by telling us the qualities and characteristics that make up a person living a godly life in Christ Jesus. He then follows that with a clear and concise description of true Christian unity. Finally, he tells us how all believers are to live in true unity. A unity that is biblical and brings glory to God.
If we as believers lived in total obedience to this exhortation, beginning in 1:27 and concluding in 2:4, what would the church look like today? How would it strengthen the body of Christ? How would it glorify God?
