In this episode of The Unspoken Truth, we turn the spotlight on the transgender community in Ghana, a group whose voices are too often silenced or overlooked. Trans people in Ghana face a web of intersecting challenges—from social stigma and discrimination to barriers in healthcare, education, and employment—that deeply shape their everyday lives.

Through intimate, first-hand accounts, we hear how these obstacles alter their journeys, influence their choices, and impact the way they navigate a society that frequently denies them recognition and dignity. Yet, within these stories also lie strength, resilience, and an unyielding will to exist authentically.

This conversation goes beyond headlines and stereotypes, offering listeners a rare and honest glimpse into the lived experiences of Ghana’s trans community—an invitation to listen, reflect, and reckon with truths that remain unspoken.
