If you were to jump in a time machine and take yourself back to 2016, gamification was the buzz word that AI seemingly is today. The chat then was that by gamifying the learning and goal processes in the workplace we could shortcut our employees’ brains to get the most out of them whilst also being engaging and entertaining.
Fast forward to now, and gamification still has relevance in the workplace. Today, gamification is seen as more than just a flash in the pan solution to ‘fix’ training and engagement - but a tool used to help reach and engage new generations of digital first workforce, and also a way to reach and support neurodiverse employees. In this episode I speak with Viren Thakrar from In The Game about the relevance of gamification in workplace engagement and culture, and how gamification can create energy and buzz in your company culture
