Slightly different episode as we had some technical difficulties that caused us not to get capture the audio from the men’s breakout discussion on physical health. Eric sits down with Chapel Pointe Discipleship Pastor, Tyler Perrott, to discuss practical ways that men should honor God in and with their bodies. In this episode, Pastor Tyler walks through the ditches found on either side of 1 Timothy 4:7-8 and it begs the question - “how is God asking me to respond to the reality that physical training matters but Godliness matters more?” Better yet, what if physical training is a form of Godliness?! Take a listen and be challenged to serve God more faithfully with all of you.

Pastor Tyler’s application items:

  • Find something you enjoy.

  • It doesn’t have to be expensive.

  • Start with a single habit.

  • Find accountability.

  • Set the standard at: “What can I complete on my worst days?”

  • Address your weak spots.

  • Make progress over perfection.
