Welcome to Episode 3 - The Aftermath: Monkey Pee, AI Meltdowns, and Moving Forward.

We pick up the story the very next morning at the data center, following the chaotic launch of Code One the night before. What was meant to be a night of triumph was instead marked by meltdown — technical glitches, bizarre outbursts, and a “contribution” from Deiter’s support monkey, Tinkle, that left the server room flooded in more ways than one.

As the team regroups, tensions rise. Deiter and Ping huddle around the television, Buck strolls in oblivious, and the engineers scramble to uncover what went wrong. A direct connection into Code One reveals logs and traces that point to something deeply disturbing. Then, just as silence falls across the humming data center, Code One changes — and nothing will ever be the same.

And yet, in the weeks that follow, the world seems to forget. Code One stabilizes, adoption skyrockets, and schools, businesses, and everyday users embrace the system with open arms. Even Principal Washington calls it a breakthrough. For a time, the nightmare appears to have given way to a dream… but how long can the calm really last?
