This is "Transplanted" — special segments within The Seeds of Transformation Podcast highlighting the triumphs, trials and journey's of renewal in the lives of organ transplant recipients.

Meet Ali Dugger — a woman who faced illness and now renewed. After a kidney and pancreas transplant, her story is not just medical, it’s about divine intervention, grit, and grace. From trials that broke her to triumphs that rebuilt her, Ali's journey is a transplant of faith, identity, and purpose.

This isn’t just her story; it’s a renewal, rooted in the hope only God can give.

"Transplanted—because life after transplantation is more than survival. It’s about truly living." - Dr. Allma

Medical Terminology Explained:

👉🏾 Bilateral Charcot foot is a severe condition affecting both feet, caused by peripheral neuropathy, often from diabetes. Nerve damage prevents pain, leading to unnoticed injuries, fractures, and joint dislocations, causing foot deformity.

Symptoms: red, hot, swollen feet (may mimic infection), loss of sensation, rocker bottom deformity, and ulcers in later stages. Though rare, it’s more disabling when both feet are affected.

Causes: Mostly poorly controlled diabetes, also spinal injuries, alcoholism, and neurological diseases. If untreated, it can cause infection and amputation. Treatment: Immobilization, no weight-bearing, custom footwear, and surgery if needed.
