Hi Satsmate Stackers,

I hope you are having a great week so far! We don't need to look far to see that we are a nation of debt slavery. In fact, you can see how dire the situation is for yourself at the following link: https://www.usdebtclock.org/.

Public spending is out of control, and in this podcast, I discuss ways in which we can reduce the drag of public outlays. Specifically in this podcast, I go over the key important topics:

  • Top Budget Line Items: The Largest 5 are HHS, SSA, Treasury, Defense, and VA. Agriculture, Education, Homeland Security, Transport, and Labor won't help the picture.
  • Political Reality: Trump leaning into cutting rates; anything else will be politically unpopular.
  • Generational Focus: Thinking about millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha.
  • Systemic Injustice: God-awful system: paying 25-30% taxes to wealthy boomers for SS, strapped to 30+ years of debt servitude.
  • Inevitable Collapse: If the system doesn’t work for all, it collapses. It fails youth; they're protesting directly and indirectly.
  • Rising Tensions: Socialism rising; class war—blame unclear. Money, currency, and hope are broken in America.
  • Shutdown Preference: Government shutdown better than current state; frogs boiling in water.
  • Need for Radical Change: System needs to burn—can't kick the can forever. Rip band-aid, Nepal-style, amid waste, fraud, and corruption.
  • Metaphor for Strain: Skinny man (Gen Z/ Z/millennials) lifting elephant (boomers). Untenable.
  • Boomer Accountability: Why did boomers allow this? Society's fabric tears worse; they'll rule fire and ashes.
  • Shutdown Futility: Shutdowns: twice-yearly ritual—headlines, same outcome.
  • Required Reforms: Mass firings, major department closures. Small, limited government is needed, even with big programs. Radical structural change.
  • Call to Action: Rip the band-aid off, face problems, shutdown, massive shift. Country in pieces—boomers don't see it.
  • Silver Lining: Shutdown good: no more piss-poor BLS data. Every cloud has a silver lining.
