We have Joey Young on the podcast this week, and trust me you do not want to miss this one. Joey is our International Missions Pastor at North Monroe, so he spends much of his time traveling with his wife Lori Young to multiple countries a year. What you may not know is that Joey didn’t always do international missions. Today Joey shares his story of always serving in the church, raising his family, working for and then running his family’s electrical company, and also how the Lord led him to surrender to the mission work he’s doing now. What you’ll hear in his story, though, is how Joey and Lori both live their lives on mission no matter where they are. Joey shares his insight on what he’s learned through his work, travel, and the way other cultures have deeply impacted him. I also got to ask him questions about what the American church needs to learn from our brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world– I cannot wait for you to hear his wisdom!
