I know these words sound overused, but hear me when I say they are exactly what I mean: you will not want to miss this episode. Phyllis Thomas is our guest today, and Emily Jones has sung her praises for months now, and man, was she right. Phyllis is someone who intentionally walks in the way of the upright, lives with deep convictions that match the patterns of her life, and seeks to build the kingdom of Heaven in everything she does. Listening, you will hear this in her story in every step along the way. She brings wisdom and freedom into so many topics as we walk through her story. Because of her radical and beautiful faith, Phyllis’s life has had many twists and been marked by many surprising turns, but none so surprising as finding out that her father was Phil Robertson. Full transparency, I did cry in almost half of the episode, but mostly because we serve a good, good Father, and that is unquestionably evident in the life of Phyllis Thomas.
