On May 29, 1997, Jeff Buckley drowned in Wolf River, Memphis, Tennessee, just as he was preparing to record the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut album, Grace. He was only 30 years old. In the time since his tragic death, his legacy has only grown, and the music remains a unique testament to his singular voice and songwriting talent.

Director Amy Berg (West of Memphis, Janis: Little Girl Blue), talks to us about her moving and emotional new documentary It's Never Over, Jeff Buckley, which has its theatrical debut this week.

The Record Store Day Podcast is a weekly music chat show written, produced, engineered and hosted by Paul Myers, who also composed the theme music and selected interstitial music.

Executive Producers (for Record Store Day) Michael Kurtz and Carrie Colliton. For the most up-to-date news about all things RSD, visit RecordStoreDay.com
