In the first part of today's show, we examined how government-funded scientific studies—sometimes seen as impractical—have historically led to major breakthroughs and impressive returns on investment. Then, we discussed Microsoft’s CEO admitting that AI is currently generating little to no value.

Today's unpopular opinion was "We should all aspire to live a boring life."

In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans which profession probably has a boring personal life. Later, we saw a man freed after 30 years in prison who was shocked that "Everybody is looking at their phones."
