Val Chavez joins the podcast for an inspiring conversation on being a #FitLeader. She has been an educator in Ysleta ISD for 25 years. Val was an elementary school teacher for 15 years and taught 6th grade science in the middle school for 3 years. She has also served as a math/science instructional coach for 1 year and then entered the administrative world in 2018. Val was honored to serve as an assistant principal for 5 years. Currently, Val Chavez is the Director of the Texas ACE Program in Ysleta ISD. She is avid proponent of fitness, wellness, and joy. Be sure to follow #FitLeaders.
