Family,

The very act of engaging in journalism requires bravery. Journalists take the vow--or at least they're supposed to--that they will truthfully deliver the facts of any given situation, even when it may potentially cost them everything.

Ida B. Wells was the pinnacle of what real journalism looks like. Not only was she unapologetic about exposing white terrorism, she called out the closeted racism of those who were supposed to be white allies, at a time when it could have cost Wells her very life.

In this edition of the Poethnic Justice Podcast, we salute our immortal elder, Ida B. Wells.

One Love & One Justice,

The Stormy Poet
