Dirty Dancing - Chapter 5

Featuring a chapter novelized by Liz Lent and narrated by Samantha Bee, plus an interview with Courtney Pauroso. Hosted by Dave Hill.

Samantha Bee is a comedian, writer, and producer who rose to fame as the longest-serving correspondent on "The Daily Show" before creating and hosting "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee" from 2016-2022. She currently hosts podcasts including "Choice Words with Samantha Bee," has been named one of TIME's 100 Most Influential People. She's currently touring the US with her show, "How to Survive Menopause."

Courtney Pauroso is an actress, writer, director and comedian known for her one-woman clown shows "Gutterplum" and "Vanessa 5000," which had successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She was named one of Vulture's 2024 "Comedians You Should and Will Know."

Liz Lent is a writer and illustrator based in Detroit. She is currently at work on a new project, An Illustrated History of the Perimenopausal Women’s Fight Club, 1066-2066: A Millennium of Really Very Valid Rage, If You Think About It.

Each season on The Novelizers, we take a beloved film, then get comedy writer (from SNL, The Simpsons, Colbert, and more) to turn it into a hilarious audiobook, narrated by comedians and actors. We also feature interviews with the people who (may or may not have) made the original film.
