Happy Halloween folks! We hope you get to enjoy all the spiced beverages and sugared finger foods that your heart desires. And we especially hope that you have a great costume that embodies part of your persona that typically stays buried deep down for the rest of the year, only to be unleashed every year on the ultimate day of October.

To celebrate this allowance of inner truth, we decided that It’s Probin’ Time! Rob cracks open the dusty encyclopedias to give us a history lesson on costumes. More specifically, one type of costume… Even more specifically, one type of costume that is worn year round, and that some may find it insulting that I am calling it a “costume” rather than its real name: a fursuit.

That’s right. Its time to look into the archive of furries. More about them, why they get a bad rap, and the history behind anthropomorphic art.

And if you enjoy what we are doing here at the Pit and would like to support us further, please check us out our patreon, where we have exclusive extended episodes! Today, Rob flips the Limited Recall switch and looks at the 1999 classic Things Fall Apart by The Roots. We also go through a reddit copypasta about Pokémon… Very specifically one Pokémon in fact… This one’s a doozy…

We also have some merch for sale up on our Etsy, as well as a limited run of embroidered beanies out now! Only a few left… Shoot us a DM on IG if you’re interested.
